Terms of service

Galaxy Teamwear wants a fair and straightforward relationship with every customer. These terms are written for the benefit of both sides — please read them before you order.

Prices and payment

• All prices are in New Zealand Dollars and include GST.
• Shipping is free anywhere in New Zealand on kit orders. Freight is charged on samples and is shown before you pay.
• Payment is made before goods are supplied, unless we have agreed something different with you in writing.
• Minimum order quantities apply to custom-made garments. The minimum for a garment is shown on its product page.
• A one-off setup fee applies to the first order of a new design, to cover setting that design up in our system. It is charged once per order, not per garment, and is not charged again when you reorder the same design.

Orders, approvals and cancellations

• Custom garments are made to order. Before anything is manufactured you approve your design twice: first the proof, then the job sheet.
• The job sheet sets out the sizes, quantities, colours, and player names and numbers exactly as they will be made. Please check it carefully — once you approve it, that is what the factory produces.
• You can change or cancel your order at any time before you approve the job sheet. After job sheet approval your order is in production and cannot be changed or cancelled.
• Where design work or a setup fee has already been incurred at the point you cancel, we may retain or charge that cost.
• We may refuse to accept all or part of any order placed through the website or by email, for any reason we see fit.

Where we ship

• Our shopping cart accepts New Zealand orders only.

Quality and your rights

• We warrant that the goods we supply are of acceptable quality.
• Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
• If you are acquiring goods from us for the purposes of a business, the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, and the limits set out under "Our liability" below apply instead.
• Returns, faults and exchanges are covered by our Refund policy.

Our liability

• Where the Consumer Guarantees Act does not apply, our liability for goods supplied by us — whether arising directly or indirectly from their use — is limited to replacing the goods or refunding the amount paid for them.
• To the extent the law allows, and except where the Consumer Guarantees Act applies, we are not liable for loss of profits, consequential loss, or indirect loss of any kind.

General

• These terms are governed by New Zealand law. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
• We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place your order is the version that applies to that order.
